There are many opinions about whether space exploration is worthwhile. In fact, governments have made less budget for this field. However, it has proven to be beneficial in the past, and it will continue to do so.
First of all, space exploration brings lots of high technology and innovation. Indeed, the space program started between two superpower countries, US and Russia to show off their national pride during the Cold War. This competition, even though unhealthy contributes great progress everywhere in the short period of time which later results in many amazing spinoff from personal computer to solar energy.
In addition, many scientific research have been conducted on ISS and they provide tangible benefits on human being. The research leads to more scientific discovery and new medicine and treatment. Observations related to global water and energy circulation from satellite can find a solution of climate change.
Finally, joint space ventures have served as an internationally unifying event. Building the International Space Station is a tremendous undertaking and required the cooperation of several world nations. Moreover, with some companies sharing leading edge technology to NASA, they not only widen their market share, but also improve their technical knowledge.
In conclusion, interplanetary explanation obviously brings substantial benefits to human being. This project is worthwhile and should be continued to enhance our environment.
